Stanley (Stan) R.E. Donahee
1936-2010
Stan Donahee passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital
on August 19th, 2010 at the age of 74 after a lengthly battle with
heart illness and more recently leukemia. Born January 20th, 1936 in
Marysville, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Verra (Taylor)
Donahee.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Barr) Donahee; son, Dennis Donahee; daughter, Debbie Warren and her partner, Stephen Morehouse; grandchildren, Wayne Warren and Christina Warren; great-grandson, Kingston; sister, Margaret Cole; brother, Fred Donahee (Mary); special niece, Linda Turnbull (Floyd) and several nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his parents; his son, Troy Donahee; brothers, Gerald, Dick, Doug and Sam; sisters, Hazel Ryan "Honey", Muriel Listen; two infant sisters Phyllis Dawn and Faith Marie. He was a very hard working man, loved his gardens, flowers and crafts and was very artistic.
There will be no visitation at his request. A graveside service will be held at the Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery in Marysville, NB on Sunday, August 22nd, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. For those who wish, donations in memory of Stan may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam's Funeral Home. 458-9170
