Lois E. Ramsay
After having lived a long and full life Lois Ramsay died on April 10, 2018 after a brief illness.
A long-time resident of Saint John, she was the daughter of A. Clinton (Clint) Regan and Ethel Regan. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husbands, Dr. Hugh Bonnell and Dr. G.L. (Larry) Ramsay, brother Donald Regan, and many dear friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Bonnell-Burley (Wayne Burley), son Fenwick Bonnell, grandsons Tristan Burley (Lalla Davis) and Erik Burley (Breanne Sich), brother C. Robert Regan and four nieces.
She was a loving and patient daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She attended Mount Allison University and was a piano teacher in Saint John for several years. In addition to her love of music, she was a painter. She also enjoyed gardening and worked as a florist for a brief time.
McAdams Funeral Home in Fredericton has been entrusted with arrangements. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank all staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital 4NE and staff of Hospice Fredericton for their care during her illness.
