Barbie Sue Doucette
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Barbie Sue Doucette of Fredericton, NB on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Saint John Regional Hospital, NB. She was born in Fredericton, NB on August 7, 1982.
Barbie was a beautiful person both inside and out. She was always the one to gather everyone together, keeping friends and family close. She was proud to be a graduate of St. Thomas University and enjoyed her career at University of New Brunswick which allowed her to help others. Barbie was very health conscience and extended this to all family and friends, nurturing them all. Most of all, she was a proud, wonderful mother who adored her children, an incredible and loving wife and an amazing friend to many.
She will be deeply missed by the love of her life, her husband, Jeremy, and sons, Chase and Cohen Doucette; daughter, Cameron Doucette and her chosen daughter, Tannisha Grimm. She will also be missed by her grandparents, Rose and Daryl Chase; siblings, Joey, Tanya, Mike and Ryan Grimm; mother-in-law, Olive Young; father-in-law, Delma Doucette and her brother-in-law, Jacob Milley. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Hopecity (formerly Sunset Church), 429 Clements Drive, Fredericton on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 am. Rev. Mark Brewer will officiate. Interment will take place in the Ripples Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Barbie’s honor may be made to Garden Creek School, UNB or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
