Marion Elizabeth Arbeau

Marion Elizabeth Arbeau

Marion Elizabeth Arbeau (Blizzard), born January 11, 1932 in Lincoln, NB.  Passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville February 16th at the age of 87.

Mother to sons James (Jane), Ronald (Lynn) and daughter Brenda (Dan Malloy).  Pre-deceased by husband James Charles Arbeau and son Norman Arbeau.

Grandmother to Ryan (Stephanie), Jamie, Lindsay (Jodie Rideout) and Brea.  Great Grandmother to Bauer, Rylynn, Ella and Jack.

After raising her own children, Marion became a caretaker to many other children in her community.  During this time, she was lovingly given the title "Maimie" which continued with her great grandchildren.  Her Husband James (better known as "Red") used to tease her about her "babysitting money" and the endless gifts it bought.  Besides her love of family and children, Marion also enjoyed knitting and making crafts when not watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play hockey.  A gentle and caring soul who’s homemade rolls and pies were infamous.

Marion loved animals.  She operated "The Five Star" where many pets including Beau, Fluffy, Cee-Jay, Oreo, Biscuit and Nordique enjoyed visiting and staying when away from home.  Many neighbourhood cats were given treats and allowed to enjoy a nap in the sunroom.

Now reunited with "Red" and "Norm", may she find the peace and rest that she so deserves.  She will be missed.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in Marion’s memory can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
