Forrest Eardley

1953-2019

Forrest Eardley

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Forrest Eardley at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax on February 21, 2019. Forrest fought hard but died during his second liver transplant. He was recently predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Carol Eardley, in 2018 and his parents, Gerald & Evelyn Eardley.

Forrest was born in Fredericton, NB, on December 15, 1953. He grew up with two older brothers, Frank and David. He met Carol in Fredericton in 1973 and they were married on May 11, 1974. Together they were self-employed and ran their bar and entertainment centre, their pride, "Club Camelot," for 20 years while raising their two sons, Chris Eardley (Candice Eardley) and Jason Eardley (Melissa Lavigne). Forrest was recently retired but sadly, his declining health prevented him from fully enjoying his retirement. He will be missed greatly as a father, grandfather, and brother.

Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton on Tuesday, February 26, from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Wednesday at 11 am with Fr. Martin Arputham officiating.
