Wendy (Janet Marion) Innis
Wendy (Janet Marion) Innis, born March 27, 1923, in Scarborough Ontario, died peacefully in Fredericton New Brunswick, surrounded by loved ones, on March 2, 2019.
She is survived by son John Innis with wife Megan O’Hara, grandchildren Alison Innis, Peter Innis (with fiancée Brittany Sanders), and Liam Innis, daughter Mary Ansell, "adopted daughter" Xiaoping Hronowski, brother Peter Graham, electrical engineer, of Lexington Kentucky, and sister Sheila Martin of Fredericton.
Wendy Innis, with a Master’s of Zoology from the University of Toronto, served for 22 years as Library Technician of the Chemistry library of Queen’s University, Kingston Ontario. She was the author of The Innis Family of Blenheim and Norwich Townships, Oxford County, Ontario. In 1985 she went on a canoe trip down the Yukon River with her sister-in-law Anne Innis Dagg. Wendy Innis loved nature, and will be missed by many.
There will be no services by Wendy’s request. Memorial donations may be made to Fredericton Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
