Delmont James Myshrall

Delmont James Myshrall

On Friday, June 28, 2019 Delmont James Myshrall "Des" of Fredericton, formerly of the Old Springhill Road, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Born in Millville, NB, he is the son of the late David and Alice (Cookson) Myshrall, grandson to the late Wilmont and Lorretta Myshrall and the beloved husband of Brigitte (Gouthro) Myshrall whom he met 36 years ago in Grand Bay, NB.

He was a friendly and kind man who loved his family very dearly. He was so proud to be a Myshrall and was always so happy to go back to Millville to visit with family and friends.  He also loved to have company at home.  He was a Paratrooper with the military and spent some time on peacekeeping missions in the 50’s. He will be deeply missed and will live on in the hearts of his precious family forever

Along with his wife and best friend Brigitte, Des is survived by his sons: Darcy and Jason (Kim, Tristan and Gracie); daughters: Kelly Blais and Kim Hanson and their families; Brothers: Dennis (Joyce) and Lynwood (Wanda); sisters: Gwen (Lee) Shibles and Carolyn Colpitts; extended family: Shirley Myshrall, Leigh (Murray) McConnel, Monika Leibig, Michael "Mullville" Myshrall, Annie and Greg Biesenthal, Charlotte Gouthro and their families, as well as many dear friends including Rusty McArthur and Rob Sharpe.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Des was predeceased by his brothers: Orlo and Winston, his infant children Kirk and Shelly, great grandson Wyatt and cousin Janet.

For those who wish, donations in memory of Delmont can be made to RCL#59-Millville, NB or the Salvation Army.

A private family service will take place and interment will be held at a later date.

A kind and gentle man,
A person, we were drawn to like a moth to a flame.
He could be as ornery as an angry bull, gentle as an innocent lamb, sweet as cherry pie.
He was sensitive to children and people who were sick or ailing.
He was a hard as nails, if you messed with his freedom.
He was responsible when it was needed of him.
His needs were simple, he loved his children, he loved his family.

Oh Lord, help me to see through my tear stained face, that you made the right choice; Pray for Delmont’s soul that he is at peace, and please let him know that he was and still will always be loved by, his wife Brigitte, sons, Darcy and Jason and all his family. Please God accept him for who he is. Take him into your everlasting arms.
